Documented Authority and Issuance Controls
Taurium operates under a governance model that explicitly defines who holds which authorities, under what conditions those authorities may be exercised, and how every governance decision is recorded and reviewed. Protocol-level controls govern every issuance operation and are enforced by the network, not by application convention.
Explicit authority chain
Every governance role — issuer, compliance officer, emergency authority, auditor — is defined with specific, non-overlapping authorities. Authority is documented, not implicit.
Separation of duties
Issuance authority, compliance authority, and operational authority are held by different roles. No single role can act unilaterally across all three domains.
Change management process
Changes to governance configuration — including role assignments, authority limits, and protocol parameters — follow a documented change management process with mandatory approval and logging.
External governance review
Governance documentation is available for external review by institutional counterparties, auditors, and regulators through our compliance evidence program.
Governance architecture
The full governance architecture — including role definitions, authority matrices, multisig requirements, and decision-making processes — is documented and available to qualified institutional participants.
